I've been behind the lens for 15 years! I was able to get a formal education on photography in High School which gave me the best foundation, though I've never stopped learning.
Believe it or not, I had no desire to get into wedding photography. I was all about editorial and commercial work. Once I graduated though, I began assisting and second shooting with other wedding photographers and let me tell you, it didn't take long for me to fall in love.
The emotions, the vows, the energy. So much about weddings I absolutely adore, and I also love I can incorporate my first love for editorial style photos into my wedding portraits.
My Style

I've always found it difficult to nail down my style to one word. Weddings have so many different parts that require different skills and provide opportunity for so many different styles.
Much of the day I'm purely an observer, going with the flow while capturing the raw moments as they unfold in a more documentary style. I also enjoy creating classic flat lays of all your carefully curated details, chasing around your fur baby for that extra cute close up or creating romantic, editorial style photos that feels right out of a magazine.
Above all, I always strive to direct, style and capture moments with kindness and candor, to help you enjoy every part of your wedding day.

Let's get a little personal
When I'm not photographing love stories I thoroughly enjoy a well crafted cocktail and trying new cuisines, one of the things I love about Winnipeg are the many amazing restaurants. I also love being outside and the smell of a campfire. I love reading, board games and movie marathons. I am an obsessed dog mom to a fluffy giant named Amos, who is the cutest, cuddliest, best pup ever. I can't even handle how adorable he is, and many nights are just spent playing with and watching him. My husband and I are also very active in our faith, something very dear to our hearts.
Most of all, I love spending time with my hubby Spencer, and our large group of family and friends. (usually this includes doing something in the above with a good bevie)
My couples are out going, fun loving romantics with a flair for the dramatic. They don't take themselves to seriously and enjoy busting a move on the dance floor. They are adventurous, spontaneous and strive to live in the moment. Most of all, they are head over heals, heartbeat racing, stomach turning, meet-you-at-the-top-of-the-empire-state-building kind of in love.
